Damon and Barbara Faust were returning from a conference in Reno this past September when they were hit from behind by a motorist who was under the influence of drugs. The accident killed Damon and severely injured Damon’s wife, Barbara.
This past month, the APX Family Foundation made a $1,000 donation for the Girl Scouts “Operation Cookie Drop” campaign. The program allows customers to make donations which will be used to purchase Girl Scout cookies for our military troops serving overseas.
APX and the APX Family Foundation are partnering for the second consecutive year with Now I Can “Run to Walk” by making a $1,000 donation.
On January 12, 2010, an earthquake struck Haiti, claiming and estimated 200,000 lives and becoming one of the worst catastrophes in modern history. The tragedy left hundreds of thousands of people injured and homeless, many of them children.
In response to Haiti’s desperate need for medical supplies, APX Alarm and the International Aid Serving Kids (IASK) held a “Medical Supply Drive” on January 23 at the new APX Alarm corporate headquarters in Provo.
As part of Brigham Young University’s “Walk of Life” community outreach day to honor Martin Luther King Jr., a group of APX Alarm employees, friends and family members participated in various service projects on campus earlier this month.
