About Us
APXGivesback was created to provide a way for APX employees to live out our culture of serving others. To “giveback” has become a way of life at APX Alarm. The high percentage of our employees who participate is evidence of the extent to which this culture exists at APX. APX employees volunteer for projects to bless the lives of those who require help to alleviate hardship and restore hope. APX employees also contribute a portion of their earnings to provide the finances needed to complete the projects
At APX, we are honored to serve families in need.
The direction and financial resources of The APX Family Foundation provide the means for APXGivesback to carry out and accomplish service projects. APX Alarm Security Solutions Inc owners and employees contribute service and finances into The APX Family Foundation to impact the lives of needy individuals and families, both in and outside of the company. Potential projects are brought to the attention of The APX Family Foundation nine member board of directors made up of APX executives and APX family of employees. The projects are selected by a vote and put into action by the discretion and leadership of APX employees throughout our service areas and in our local communities.
Why give back?
Primarily, we serve to make a positive impact on families in need of hope. We have seen for ourselves APX Gives Back projects have impacted families. Nothing compares with the joy we feel when we see APX Gives Back restores hope in families dealing with challenges and hardship that could happen to anyone. Witnessing this has created a momentum and desire to do more as we continue to raise the bar on APX Gives Back can accomplish.
APX Alarm also wants to inspire other companies to become active in giving back to their communities. Our desire is to impact the definition of what a good corporate citizen is so that it always includes giving back to those in need.
We have witnessed at APX an additional benefit that has impacted our work environment and teambuilding. Our employees talk about how giving and serving creates a stronger connection to APX and how they respect and have gratitude for the leadership that sponsors these efforts. They have learned the most effective teambuilding exercises occur when they participated together in an APXGivesback project. They feel good about working together on worthy projects. They want to come to work to be a part of our culture because it resonates with their personal values. Our culture of giving is consistent with the character of our employees. Individually, we all feel better about ourselves when we see our efforts contributing to worthy causes.
Collectively, the power of serving together cannot be discounted when it comes to creating respect for one another and the importance of working together to accomplish things one could not on their own.
