APX Alarm, will receive the Community Spirit Award from the American Red Cross Lewis and Clark Blood Service Region at a volunteer recognition luncheon on April 21, 2010.

As part of the APX Alarm Family Foundation, company CEO Todd Pedersen and Regional Vice President Jared Young presented Tammie Barker with a check for $20,000 that will help provide financial assistance for her husband’s cancer treatment he is currently receiving.

APX Alarm donated more than $70,000 last week to Utah Valley Regional Medical Center, the largest single corporate donation in the hospital’s history. The donation is a combination of cash and in-kind materials. The company donated $40,600 for the purchase of a Giraffe Isolette that will be used in the hospital’s NICU.
