As part of an ongoing demand for food bank contributions and services, APX Alarm has made a contribution to the Community Action Food Bank. Serving as the second-largest food bank in Utah, the Community Action Food Bank distributes over 3 million pounds of food each year to six food pantries and several other agencies. Last year alone, the organization distributed food to over 30,000 households in Utah.

APX Alarm donated more than $70,000 last week to Utah Valley Regional Medical Center, the largest single corporate donation in the hospital’s history. The donation is a combination of cash and in-kind materials. The company donated $40,600 for the purchase of a Giraffe Isolette that will be used in the hospital’s NICU. On Sep. 3, Vice Principal, Michelle Wall welcomed APX Alarm as part of the school’s assembly celebrating their 50 year anniversary and thanked APX Alarm for the $10,000 donation to be used for the 2009-2010 school year. APX Alarm has become a partner in education with the school
